In the last 24 hours, 687 Taliban were killed and wounded across the country!

The Ministry of Defense announced that 687 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in the country.

The Ministry of Defense wrote in a newsletter that 455 Taliban were killed, 232 other members of the group were wounded and a large amount of their weapons and ammunition were destroyed in clashes and counter-attacks by the defense and security forces.

It is also mentioned in this newsletter, that eight rounds of landmines, which had been moved by the Taliban in different parts of the country to target civilians and security forces, were also discovered and defused.

The Taliban were killed and wounded in Nangarhar, Paktia, Paktika, Logar, Kandahar, Herat, Faryab, Jawzjan, Balkh, Samangan, Helmand, Takhar, Kunduz and Baghlan Kapisa provinces.
