Four Taliban fighters were killed in a commando operation in Balkh

Safiullah Mohammadi, commander of the commando brigade in the north of the country, said that the joint commando and the army carried out an operation last night in the village of Shar Shark and Death Hill in Balkh district of balkh province.

According to Mr. Mohammadi, as a result of this operation, 4 Taliban were killed, Three villages were cleared and tried, an Hilex vehicle, An assault weapon and an Taliban hideout was also destroyed.

The commander of the commando brigade also said that the operation was still underway to clear the village of another Taliban presence.

The Taliban have not yet commented about this news to the media.
