A truck carrying Taliban Marines was targeted in Nangarhar province.

Eyewitnesses said, the blast took place in a Taliban pickup truck in the city of Jalalabad, in Nangarhar province, on Sunday, causing heavy casualties to the Marines.

This is the second day in a row that Taliban Marines’ vehicles have been targeted in a series of explosions in the city of Jalalabad.

Witnesses to the incident said that after the explosion, they saw Taliban Marines transporting several wounded and the bodies of their comrades to the central hospitals of the province.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the bombings, which took place in the last 24 hours in the city of Jalalabad.
