Cash assistance has been provided to more than one thousand farming families in Samangan province who have been most affected by the drought and the outbreak of corona.

The Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Samangan Province has announced that cash will be distributed to 1,071 affected families in 12 villages of the province through the Emergency Food Assistance Project in cooperation with the Wilthanger Hilfeh Institute.
Under the program, each family will receive $ 90, equivalent to 6,950 Afghanis.
This assistance is provided to families most affected by drought, climate change and corona outbreaks.
