Employees of the Ministry of Defense and National Security were assassinated in Bagrami

Two security personnel of the Ministry of Defense and Security in Kabul’s Bagrami district were shot dead this morning on their way to duty.

Kabul police confirmed the news that a Ministry of Defense employee and his son, who was a national security official, were assassinated at around 7:30 this morning (Wednesday, February 17) in the Husseinkhel area of Bagrami district of Kabul province. .

Col. Abdul Qayyum Zazi, the director of operations at the Ministry of Defense, and his son, Fahim, an officer in the National Security Directorate’s crime department, were shot dead by unidentified gunmen as they were walking from home to their office.
