This morning, the governor of Balkh was killed in his office as a result of an explosion.

Peshgo News Agency: Today, Thursday, 9th of March, according to reports from Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, Daud Muzmal, the governor of the Taliban group in Balkh province, are killed as a result of an explosion inside the administrative meeting hall of this province.

Sources also add that in this explosion, five other administrative officials of Balkh Province were seriously injured.

This is the first time that a senior official of the Taliban group are killed inside his office as a result of an explosion.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for this explosion.
