Rape of an 8-year-old child in Kabul

An 8-year-old child was raped in Mazar-e-Sakhi in Kabul yesterday.

The family of an 8-year-old girl has claimed that their 8-year-old daughter was raped by a person at a school near Mazar-e-Sakhi in Kabul, and that the child is in critical condition and is currently being treated at Esteghlal Hospital.

However, Ferdows Faramarz, spokesman for the Kabul Police Command, confirmed in a telephone call to Peshgo News Agency that; An 8-year-old child is allegedly raped by Zikrullah, the son of Abdul Ahad, who describes himself as a student.

Mr. Faramarz added: The mentioned person has been arrested by the Kabul police and after completing the investigation, his case will be handed over to the judicial institutions.

According to the child’s family, the incident took place yesterday in the third district of Karte Sakhi area.
