The Kantiva Valley was taken out of the Taliban after 18 years

Afghan security and defense forces have seized the valley in Nuristan province After 18 years.

Local officials in Nuristan province said the Kantiva Valley was dominated by Taliban fighters
But now Afghanistan forces are in the area.
The Kantiva Valley has 35 villages and is located south of Paroon in central Nuristan province.
