Salang highway reopens for traffic

Officials at the Salang Preservation Department said: the route has been re-opened to pedestrians, but drivers should be careful when traveling.

This highway was blocked off on Sunday due to snowstorms and storms along these routes.

The department said Tuesday’s weather is sunny in northern Salang but in the southern semi-cloudy Salang, where snowstorms are also likely to fall.
Officials at the Salang Preservation Department have advised all drivers and passengers to cross these routes easily to comply with traffic laws on the Salang Highway.
